How to Sign Up Using Gmail or Apple ID

Sign Up with Gmail

Signing up with your Gmail account allows for a seamless registration process by leveraging your Google account information. Here's how:

Step 1: Launch the App

Open the Black Star App on your device.

Step 2: Choose Sign Up Option
Tap on the “Sign Up” button on the welcome screen.

Step 3: Select "Sign Up with
You'll see multiple sign-up options. Select “Sign Up with Gmail.”

Step 4: Choose Your Gmail Account
If you're logged into multiple Gmail accounts on your device, you'll be prompted to choose one. Select the account you wish to use.

Step 5: Grant Permissions
You'll be asked to grant permission for our app to access some of your Google account information (like your email address). Tap “Allow.”

Step 6: Complete Registration
Your Gmail account details will be used to pre-fill parts of your registration. Complete any additional information required and tap “Finish” or “Sign Up.”

Congratulations! You're now signed up for using your Gmail account.

If you're logged into multiple Gmail accounts on your device, you'll be prompted to choose one. Select the account you wish to use.

Sign Up with Apple ID

Using your Apple ID to sign up enhances privacy and security while simplifying the registration process. Here’s what to do:

Step 1: Launch the App
Open the application on your Apple device.

Step 2: Choose Sign Up Option
Tap on the “Sign Up” button on the welcome screen.

Step 3: Select "Sign Up with
Among the sign-up options, choose “Sign Up with Apple.”

Step 4: Sign in with Your Apple ID
You’ll be prompted to sign in with your Apple ID. Use Face ID, Touch ID, or enter your Apple ID password to proceed.

Step 5: Choose What to Share
Apple will ask if you want to share your email address with our app. Choose “Share” or use “Hide My Email” if you prefer more privacy.

Step 6: Complete Registration
After agreeing, you might be asked to fill in any additional required information that wasn't provided by your Apple account. Complete this step and finalize your registration.
