How to Purchase Stocks (or Equities)

Investing in stocks is a key strategy for building wealth, and the Black Star App makes this process seamless. Follow these steps to buy stocks through our mobile app:

Step 1: Access the Investment Section
Launch the app on your device. Tap on the 'Invest' tab at the bottom of the screen to enter the investment section of the app.

Step 2: Find Your Stock
Within the 'Invest' section, you can browse through different categories or use the search function to find a specific stock. When you've located the stock you’re interested in, select it to view detailed information, including its price chart, recent performance, and company overview.

Step 3: Initiate a Buy Order
Tap the 'Buy' button on the stock’s information page. You'll then be prompted to enter the amount you'd like to invest or the number of shares you want to buy. Choose the Portfolio you wish to invest in, and enter the amount of money you wish to invest.

Step 4: Review Your Purchase Details
Carefully review your intended purchase, ensuring that the stock name, the number of shares, and the total investment amount are correct. Check for any additional fees that may be applied to the transaction.

Step 5: Confirm Your Order
Once you're satisfied with your order details, confirm to proceed.
If it's a market order, it will be executed during the next available trading window based on the current market price. For limit orders, the purchase will only execute when the stock price reaches your specified limit.

Step 6: Order Execution
You’ll receive a notification that your order has been placed. Monitor the 'Orders' tab to see when your order is executed, which will reflect the purchase of the new shares and the deduction of funds from your account. How to check my order status.

Step 7: Track Your Stocks
After your stock purchase is complete, you can track its performance in the 'Portfolio' section of the app. Stay informed about market changes and company news that may impact your stock’s performance.
