How to Sell an Investment

Follow these steps to sell your investments (stocks, mutual funds, fixed income like bills and bonds, etc.) on the Black Star App:

1. Open the App and Navigate to Your Account
- Open the Black Star App on your mobile device.
- Tap on the Account tab at the bottom of the screen.

2. Select the Portfolio
- Under Portfolios, choose the portfolio containing the investment you wish to sell (e.g.,Retirement or Emergency).

3. Access the Investment Details
- Tap on the specific investment you want to sell. For example, if you want to sell your shares in Enhanced Equity Beta Fund (EEBF), tap on EEBF.

4. Initiate the Sale
- Tap on the Sell button at the bottom of the investment detail screen.

5. Enter Sale Details
- Select the portfolio from which you are selling the investment.
- Enter the amount you wish to sell or choose to sell all available shares.

6. Review and Confirm the Order
- Review the details of your sale, including the current value, estimated shares, transaction fee, market price, and total order amount.
- Once everything looks good, tap on Proceed to Sell.

7. Confirm the Sale
- On the final screen, confirm your order by tapping Confirm Order.

Your order will be processed, and you will receive a confirmation once the sale is completed. The proceeds from the sale will be reflected in your account balance. You can withdraw the proceeds immediately your order is executed. Find our more on how to withdraw funds from your account.
